Those who were interested in the bid headed over to eBay to bid for this Leica posted by the movie star Sylvester Stallone, or more accurately his brother Frank Stallone.  In addition to the M9 itself, the winning bidder also received a 35mm f/2.5 Summarit lens, a carrying case, all the essentials (battery, charger, strap, etc.), a copy of the movie and a manual signed by Sylvester Stallone himself. The camera’s was used only once and returned to the prop master right away.

The Leica M9 wasn’t going to sell for pennies when it comes attached to Stallone’s signature. In fact the final winning bid was that of  $7,100.
